Tutorial completing file names / Integrating information from the picture into file name
You want to file the nice pictures of your family you made with your digital camera at a birthday party and you want to find them easily on your computer later on. Therefor you can integrate a hint into the file names of the pictures.
Start the program ImageBlizzard.
Open in Windows the folder with the pictures whose names you want to complete.
Drag and drop a picture from the Windows-Explorerwindow into the grey preview screen of ImageBlizzard. (Alternatively you can search the folder within the program ImageBlizzard by use of the dialog box to select files.)
Just write the desired text into the textbox next to the word “PreFix” e.g. “Birthday_Cathrine”.
Click on the „start“ button and confirm the follwoing notice with OK. Finished, that´s it! Now ImageBlizzard is writing “Birthday_Cathrine” in front of every file name for all files in the selected folder. And if later you are to search for the pictures of Catherine´s birthday on your computer, you can find them by the use of the Windows search function on this term.
